Creativity is dead 💜 Thrilled to finally receive a range of coloured ink pens to finish my first coloured ink artwork! 🌕🌸✨ MOONS FLOWERS and WOMENS POWERS ✨🌸🌕 A crop of the lovely Azalea. She deserves a little Insta-promotion. While I wait for backup supplies, the peaceful inking process continues. She’s starting to come to life the beautiful lavender star. This is when all the crooked lines and thousands of minute corrections start paying off. Patience brings many rewards - this is my favourite. ✨ Six ink drawings - framed. Twelve prints mounted. 🥳 Sneak peek into progress on Lavendar Star - she is the first to be rendered in coloured ink! 🫟 Still sitting proudly at the veterans well-being Centre Shoalhaven is the “imprint of war”. This artwork, meticulously cut from pine wood, explores the enduring imprint of war on human identity and collective memory. By combining the intimate detail of fingerprints with symbolic depictions of conflict, I reflect on the profound and often unseen ways war becomes embedded within the fabric of individual and societal experience. With a mere 12 weeks left in studying a Master of Education. I’m relieved, I'm tired, and if I’m honest, I'm a little disheartened.
