Magnolia Grandiflora. Gardenia. Frangipani. Spider Plant. Hydrangea. She's finished! She is a botanical study of the fragrant sweet alyssum (Lobularia maritima), a wonderful, low-maintenance plant ideal for attracting pollinators. 🌸 🐝 🌿 When something in a reference image looks different, it needs to be rendered differently – so a change of technique is required. As AI evolves, it’s becoming harder to tell the difference between a human sketch and a digital generation. While AI will only continue to get more impressive at emulating art, there is one thing it can’t replicate: the human impulse to create. ⁕ Sweet alyssum (Lobularia maritima) forms dense racemes of minute, four‑petalled flowers - each only 3–4 mm long and whose morphology reveals elegant symmetries when studied with the kind of close attention required for detailed ink work.
